Facilities

Located within New York's Catskill State Park, Mount Tremper Arts is nestled on 150 wooded acres that touch thousands of acres of public land.  Performances, exhibits, rehearsals, and classes take place in a large and airy studio built in 2005.  The property also holds a house from the 1800s available to people on residency, as well as gardens, hiking trails, streams, a pond, and a sauna.

Studio

The primary building at Mt. Tremper Arts is a studio used for performance, exhibitions, and rehearsals built in 2005. It contains an open 32’ by 50’ space with 25 foot ceilings and large picture windows overlooking gardens and woods on three sides. It has sprung maple floors and radiant heat. The studio is fully equipped with lighting and sound for both teaching and performances and can easily seat 75 people. The studio building contains a loft, full bathroom with shower, and porch.

Grounds

The grounds at Mount Tremper Arts include an organic vegtable garden, ornamental gardens, hiking trails, and 150 acers of mountainside forrested land adjacent to the Catskill Forrest Preserve.
